2025 Day 3

Where are we in the TODO list?

Pretty far, actually. TK suggested I provide pictures. Hearing that from a professional photographer is encouraging.

Day 1

  1. Move the anchor to make room to have bowsprit repaired.
  2. Install Dodger.
  3. Install Bimini.
  4. Blow leaf debris from deck.
  5. Replace Flow Rite battery water filling system.
  6. Replace Fresh water pump breaker. Uncovered another problem.

Day 2

  1. Fresh water pump didn’t work. Likely loose spade connector. See 2025 Commissioning
  2. Perko 4” door latch.
  3. Mount bell on mizzen.
  4. Grease winch and outboard.
  5. Take galley supplies to rental unit and run through dishwasher.
  6. Address fuel flow issue. Emptied a few ounces from low spot. See 2025 Commissioning

Day 3

  1. Clean more pots & pans. Throw out some things (like the plastic bag collection) that were soaked during Hurricane Ian.

  2. Rig Dorade vents.

  3. Address broken bowsprit platform. I have a plan to reinforce the wooden structure. We may get something completely different, but I have a plan. What's important is this didn't just "wear out". I hit a dock really hard and the anchor was wrenched down into the woodwork. It's mostly solid; what's important is not hitting a dock.

  4. Rig Life Sling. Doubled figure 8, used for rock climbing, and then the free end stitched down.

  5. Inflate fenders. Big Bertha is a ball. Two blue footballs with fabric covers. Three white cylinders in various states of rotty discoloration.

  6. Rig boat hooks.

  7. Rig on-deck solar panels. There's a small 55W panel to starboard (left in the picture), and a 110W panel to port (right in the picture).
