These are pictures from earlier in January. It was cold.
The creek isn't frozen, yet.
Starting about the 15th, the crew of Fawkes were back in the marina. Living full-time on their boat. On the hard. In the cold.
The good news is that there hasn't been as much blowing snow since they returned.
They're going to move down to Chisman Creek off the Poquoson River. Near this waypoint
Hopefully, we'll spend a bunch of weekends down there together. Or -- perhaps -- at rendezvous around the bay.
They've got huge (huge!) interior rebuild jobs underway. We're hoping to limit ourselves to a few critical jobs like the engine heat exchanger, some deck holes, lifeline rebedding, a new oven, and -- hopefully -- little more than that.
