Hurricane Ian devastated the Gulf Coast of Florida. Landfall was near enough to the Fort Myers area that Safe Cove yard where Red Ranger was hauled out was right in the eye of the storm.

A lot of people suffered. Deaths. Houses wrecked. Serious injuries.

As of today, power is still out. Safe Cove has a ton of work to do. The people who work there have lives to rebuild; I can't reasonably expect anything more than "We're all safe" for a week or maybe two.

Folks have been posting pictures of the devastation.

We saw this little bit of a larger photo:

We think this is Red Ranger. We think she's been knocked off her stands and is laying on her side in the yard.

We can imagine a lot of chaos in the interior. We had things in the cockpit -- who knows what happened to them?

We wonder about the dodger and solar panels. The masts.

For now, all we can do is worry.
