Week 5 (days 68-74) Mooring fields are very nice. We can take a hiatus, confident Red Ranger is safe with double mooring lines.

Day 68. Tuesday, February 11.
Shower day. Dinghy trip to shore for Hollywood showers. Also. Started bringing our Jerry jugs to shore to get fresh water.
Day 69. Wednesday.
Laundry day. Tomorrow we start another hiatus.
The dinghy is not healthy. The leak in the starboard tube is getting worse. Finding adhesives here is difficult.
Days 70-74. Hiatus.
Dinghy to a marina where we’ve paid for dry storage for a week. Bus to the airport. Airplanes. Rental cars. The whole show.
Stopped at a West Marine to buy some two-part PVC adhesive.
Don't use it in very humid conditions. The exact conditions we face doing dinghy repairs outdoors in Florida. They say the adhesive "blooms"; which appears to mean it soaks up moisture and the solvents don't evalporate like their supposed to.
A hint on a web page is (approximately) "apply heat and rub down harder."
I've got brand new adhesive, and some advice that may actually work for the old patch. We'll see...
