Week 4 (days 61-67) Mooring fields are very nice. And yes, we're doing mostly nothing. We have stacks of books and miles of yarn.

Day 61. Tuesday, February 4.
Move down to San Carlos Bay, outside Ft Meyers beach. Delightful motor down the Gulf. Started 08:52 AM Anchored 15:17 at 26°28′8″ N 81°58′33″ W
Day 62.
Head in to mooring ball 49. We’ve done this a bunch of times and we still worry. The ball is impossible to see under the bow for the last 3-4m of approach. And. I’m going as slow as I can; sometimes too slow to steer.
Started 12:57 Moored 14:04 at 26°27′21″ N 81°56′49″ W
Ran to shore to do laundry. We were down to my last ratty pair of boxers. It's 10 min run to shore. 10 min back. Propane seems down only 1 full pound from Jan 29. About 1 pound per hour.
Day 63.
Hollywood showers. Tons of water in the marina shower stalls.
Another pair of 10-min runs to shore, plus carefully trying to weigh the propane tank.
Day 64. Friday.
Visit Ft Meyers. It's nowhere near Fort Meyers Beach. We bought some all day passes through the LeeTran app. We took the 490 and 130 busses from the beach to downtown. They have very nice public transit.
We went to Ft Meyers to see if we could recover my lost credit card. We were completely successful. They throw them into the bottom of the cash drawer. They have dozens. We had a good lunch. And we saw Ft Myers from the windows of the bus.
Day 65. Saturday.
Did more-or-less nothing.
Day 66. Superbowl Sunday.
Shopping was the plan. But. Looking at the weekend bus schedule, it seemed like there would be a lot of waiting around. We decided to put it off until Monday.
Thought (briefly) about which bar we could choose to watch the game. That means a dinghy trip back to the boat in the dark. Not a great idea. We have lights. But. We’d have to pull the dinghy up on deck late at night.
The "slow" leak is getting worse. I doubt we could leave it in the water overnight; the air loss is too profound.
Day 67. Monday, February 10
Groceries. We took the d inghy to the public dock. We walked to the bus stop. We wandered around Publix. Quickly. Took the bus to the dinghy and the dinghy to tbe boat. A big day out.
If you don’t dawdle, you can do your shopping while the bus finishes its route, turns around, and comes back. You have ½ hour. No more. Otherwise, you're waiting an hour for the next bus.
16 min of dinghy riding (out and back.) Tank weighs about 24lbs. Data still shows 1lb per hour. It's about 0.4 nm to the dock, so we're doing about 0.8nm is about 16 minutes. And propane is so much easier to deal with than gasoline.
