Let’s See What We Can Do

We really need to improve on the Team Red Cruising Blog.

1. It’s old and looks old. It works, but it’s old http://www.karelia.com/products/sandvox/. Last updated 2016. Old and getting older. (One time price of $80, so that’s nice.)

2. The themes are wired in. There’s an extra theme pack for $25. But. That’s it.

3. It doesn’t integrate well with the Photos app. It used to grab Mac OS X media nicely. It hasn’t for a while. I’ve gotten over it. Kind of. But not really.

On The Other Hand.

1. I’d have to convert my content. Or migrate old content to a parallel set of URI’s, breaking in-bound links.

2. Sandvox isn’t really broken. It produces a variety of pages and web content. It’s usable off-line. I’d have to replace it with a tool like blogo (https://www.getblogo.com) Which might be a step up.
