Our first big outing was a 25 nm trip from Jackson Creek (near Deltaville, VA) to Reedville, VA. Reedville, it appears, is second after Dutch Harbor, AK, for annual quantity of fish brought to port in the United States. The fish-processing does lead to a pervasive smell. It's the smell of money.
