We're off Red Ranger, visiting family. No cruising updates this week.
Except, of course, for the fact that we left the boat in Saint Augustine and flew to Las Vegas.
Cruising isn't all sitting in cool anchorages or mooring fields. Sometimes, it's hanging with our kids, celebrating CA's birthday and a delayed Christmas in cool locations.

Back on Red Ranger. Time to get to work planning our journey southbound.
Our little 60W collection of random solar panels assured that our batteries where in tip-top condition after being away for a week. While the panels can't handle our load when the fridge is running, they did work delightfully while Red Ranger was empty.
It's time to learn how to use the GoPro Hero3 camera. We have some mounting hardware on order and we'll need to explore the choices.
It's also time to order a larger anchor. We're leaning toward a 55# (25 kg) Rocna.
Dinner with the crews of all five Whitby 42's: Red Ranger, Joie de Vivre, Creola, Bye Polar and Dominion. Table for 11 at A1A brew pub. What a treat.
