It's a long day from Great Bridge to North River. Three lift bridges, lots of other boats.

Here's the 08:00 bridge opening. From there, we have ½ hr to the Centerville Turnpike bridge. Then an hour to the North Landing bridge.
Then it's about 4h 18m to Coinjock. This has a long sea wall to tie up to, and a restaurant where folks often stop for the day to eat and hang out. COVID-19 makes this less appealing to us.
We pressed on past Coinjock down into the North River where it widens into Albemarle Sound. There's yet another Broad Creek with an anchorage that has a little protection from the SW wind.
This is 36°11.9430′N 75°57.0444′W.

Like a lot of eastern North Carolina, it's coastal marshland.
The land shoals off gently, so it's shallow pretty far out into the river.
The weather forecast is for hellacious wind tomorrow, Thursday, the 21st. We figure we can hunker down and have a jammie play day.
