To see as much of the world as we can,
Using the smallest carbon footprint we can,
Spending the least amount of money we can,
Making as many friends we can.

Flora and Fauna

Went to the Aquarium. Looked at the local wildlife. Especially those famous blue crabs out of which they make those delicious cakes.

Here's dinner "on the hoof."

The Episcopalian Church (next door) is celebrating their 100th year. A Bishop who served here back in the 60's reminisced about what a run-down neighborhood this had become, back when he started. For things like Christmas Concerts, they'd be sure to mention that they had extra police on the corner.

He also mentioned that the city urban renewal folks had some consideration for what they were doing. First, they built good, cheap housing. Then they started removing and rehabbing neighborhoods like this. Now, this Ghent corner of Norfolk quite nice.

Our neighbor the composer says that the Episcopal church has the best music program. They had commissioned new works for this, the first Sunday of their Centennial Celebration
