We're about to pull up the hook. We're bound for a little jog down the coast to San Diego before returning east. I'm starting to lose track of the legs.

If you look a the rocks in the bottom ⅓ of the picture, you might see the snowy egret standing in the water.
We've been seeing family here in the LA area. Son and partner. Grandchild. Partner's family. Lots of people.
Which means lots of distancing.
Which means lots of mask time.
It also meant a COVID-19 test just to be sure we hadn't slipped in our cautious approach to crossing the country. And we hadn't. Mask & Vaccine & distancing and hand-washing seem to be helping.
We've eaten many lovely restaurant meals at outside tables; far from everyone else.
We went to exactly two bars in Las Vegas and sat far from everyone else. We've been cautious and it's working out so far.
And.
We picked up a bunch of yards of Sunbrella at Dorrell's. Their store in Fountain Valley, CA, had some fabric we'll need. The selection wasn't as broad as Sail-Rite, but the price was very appealing.
We had three major stops: Dallas, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. We're embarking on an LA side-trip, so, this is the end of Part III. When we pull up the hook in San Diego it will start Part IV.
